Inner Tube 10” x 2,125” for Electric Scooter Straight Valve

Tube tyres are by far the number one choice when it comes to riding comfort, which is why many electric scooter riders fit them on their vehicles. They cancel out vibrations and cushion holes and uneven terrain, greatly increasing the comfort of the scooter journey.

Unfortunately, the inner tube in pneumatic tyres is a component prone to damage. It can burst as a result of running into a sharp object, high inner pressure, or prolonged wear.

A cracked inner tube is no fun, especially if it involves having to carry an electric scooter or arrange for alternative means of transport. To cut down on the time it takes to get back on the road, stock up on spare inner tubes.

The rubber of the inner tube features insulating and sealing properties. It maintains the right air pressure inside even during a long ride. You won't have to look for a compressor after covering dozens of miles.

Inner Tubes Maintenance

Do you want a new inner tube to serve your scooter for as long as possible? Here are some tips on how to look after it:

  • Check your tyre pressure: If the tyre pressure is too low, it can lead to inner tube damage; pressure too high results in premature tyre wear. Always follow the scooter manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Check the condition of your tyres: Make sure that no sharp objects (e.g. glass, nails, stones) have entered the tyre, as they could damage the inner tube. Be careful when removing them.
  • Pay attention to tread wear: The tyre tread is not only responsible for traction but also protects the inner tube from sharp objects. If it’s too thin, replace the tyre with a new one.
  • Ride carefully: Avoid potholes and sharp stones, as they can damage the inner tube.
  • Proper storage: A scooter that stands unused for a long time should be stored in a dry and cool place. Sunlight and humidity harm the elasticity and strength of the inner tube.

How to Choose an Electric Scooter Inner Tube?

  1. Check your vehicle's tyre markings. This inner tube fits the 10-inch tyres that many larger scooter models have.
  2. Determine what valve the old inner tube had. This model has a straight valve, but there are also tubes with valves bent at 45 degrees and 90 degrees.
  3. Find out what width the replacement inner tube was. This model is 2.125 inches wide.
